App automatically deletes tracked time when punching out.

The issue has manifasted itself in different ways, which makes it even more bothersome.

This has persisted for more than one OS update, about 2 months now. iPhone 12 Pro Max, currently on iOS 18.6.2:

When I press punch out/start break on a locked screen, instead of opening the app, the timer just disappears, together with all the data. So unless I took a screenshot, my time for the day disappears. We have marketed ourselves clocking our time down to the minute and work times are random, so filling the exact time is quite important on one hand, but becomes impossible with this.

Until recently if I only press on on the time instead of one of the two “buttons”, the app will open, and I get to edit and save the entry. However, I have had two cases recently where even in that case, I would close the app and delete the entry.

The app becomes unusable for us if this is not fixed. I kindly ask you for help.
